Do you want to learn the guitar?

The guitar is a cool instrument to play, but it is not easy to play. Most people think they know how to learn guitar, they grab a book and sit down expecting to master it in a week and then be able to play after that. They quickly realize though that not only would it be incredibly hard to learn from a book, but also that it takes a lot longer than most people think to get good on a guitar, we are talking months if not years. When people do realize all this then the vast majority drop out, but thankfully the people who are really serious about learning carry on.
